this event happened on 14/1/2017, this was chrismass and new year party at Amani, the disabled children together with their parents plus the community came together to eat, drink and enjoy together: in the picture on the right and the left are the deaf children singing by use of signs...the title of their song was "God love us all"

Amani school for the deaf is the only boarding school for the deaf in the eastern zone of Tanzania. Here the deaf children come to learn; they are taught, cared for and loved. . This place is their home where they live, learn and become aware of their capabilities. The school started in 2013 so it has been in existance for nearly 3 years and, to date we have 21 students. We include also the children who are normal (without a hearing impairment) just to be like the catalyst in their midst and this helps the deaf children to feel integrated and so belonging.
